So I have been making my own homemade laundry soap for a couple of years now. I Love It......No other laundry soap can match the cleaning power of this stuff. Most of the time I make it into a liquid, but this time I am going to make it into a powder because of space issues. I am going to post a link to someone elses site to show you what I use and I use the same mixture he does for the most part, the only difference is that I do not use any oils or scent mixtures in my soap. I actually like the way the Fels Naptha soap smells, but I do use Downy Fabric softner.
So if you do decide to make the soap, I hope it works as well for you as it does for me, on top of the fact that it saves us a ton of money on laundry soap. My initial investment is about $15-20.00. and it last me about 7-8 months for a family of 5 who lives in the woods and always has really dirty clothes.
Good Luck

Just a little blog to try and communicate what we are accomplishing here, and also what we are trying to accomplish. Not much, just a self-sustained life full of peace and love and all that other "hippy" nonsense. What we are looking for really, is just a better Happier world for our kids. Don't you want the same? We've been at this for a few months, so some of this will be catch-up, don't get bored or bitchy, just try and keep up. Peace and Love Y'all
